Why I love my job

Image
Weddings can be so chaotic and crazy and so tiring. But the good thing is I get to step aside from all this chaos and just watch it and shoot the funny moments of the chaos. The joy is completely different when you start connecting to the bride and the groom you've barely known for weeks and you realize how to get the best out of them. Most Indian weddings don't just mean the bride and groom getting married, but its the families that marry. The joys and tears and stealing of shoes are always fun to watch and shoot. The people who attend the wedding as guests, get to see the wonderful story of the bride and groom. In fact everyone gets to see their story on their wedding but them. Hours to get ready for the D-day, months of preparations for the wedding that the bride and groom eventually tend to loose the joys of their own marriage. My aim as a photographer will always be to try and get back that joy in my little own ways to make them laugh and try to get them close to each

Baby Time

Shooting a baby sure is not easy. Getting them to smile, play with you and just not get cranky. This little wonderful thing just made my process so easy by smiling and playing with me that I just didn't want to end the session with her. Aisha Kotwal, my youngest and most beautiful model made my first baby shoot a huge success. This cutie just manages to make everyone go "aww, how cute." She knew exactly when to look at the camera and when not to. This little one kept my camera in her lap and pressed all the buttons and enjoyed seeing her own photographs. Won't be surprised to see her grow into this beautiful model some day. It's absolutely wonderful to watch something this beautiful grow up, Can't wait to take more pictures of this little one. Here are a few.                                                                                                   And the mother daughter bonding time

Wedding Photography Mumbai Workshop

Sephi Begerson, Christophe Viseux and Andrew Adams . A journey that began with a million thoughts of if I would be able to do it, a mysterious phone call to Sephi and sounded like a complete idiot. A mind boggling workshop conducted by them sure had a made a difference in the person I am today. First thought as I entered the place was  if I was in the right place, because everyone was older than me, very well established in their fields and so confident already, made me wonder why they were along with me. I was mentally prepared to be grilled into the session but the minute Sephi began to talk, I was taken aback and in my head I went "OH WOW!!!" I was so happy that I made it to this workshop. He spoke about everything that was actually in my head I would wonder how to tackle the issue. The highlight of the workshop was tell us who we are and what we actually love to do   to explore our shooting style  to be open to appreciation and talent.  We got one day each with
