Open those eyes

Image
Open them! Use those eyes well, you never know what you're going to see that makes you happy and will make your day. In that daily routine, go look for that one thing that you see differently, notice it, smile and let that smile keep you going. There's no use always focusing on the things you've already seen and known for a while now. It's time for change, good change. Let the black & white and grey also remain, but just make space for the new colour that plans to take some bit of your world. Keep the existing colours, they made you who you are, just don't let them with you down for no reason. Go find your new colour. I found it at home :)

Chasing the light

Image
So this didn't just come to me naturally, it occurred to me only on a very beautiful flight back home. We chased the sunset. It was gorgeous. The light that never goes out, thats the only thing that stuck to my head throughout this flight, just as i saw the light disappear and the darkness eat into the light. That's when I realised that there is always that light, and yes sometimes darkness eaters into it, but it's not always the worst thing. Do you know what is going to happen once the darkness creeps in? Dark is not always bad. Well in my case, the darkness was home. It's wonderful to love the vibrance of life. The Insane colours we see and the moods we feel, it's all ok. Colors are not the only way to life. Sometimes, its all about the black and white, and sometimes it's only about the grey, may be also enjoy the process of grey too? You never know what's in store for you, so don't always be afraid if that light starts to go out, may be in t...

Did we just fall?

Image
Sometimes it feels like we are standing on this thin rope, trying to cross from one end to another, probably even knowing that it is a remote possibility, but we go ahead and do it anyway. You know that any second you are going to fall and it's never going to be the same again. You fall. When you try to get back on your feet, you know there's pain, you can either ignore it and just try and see the brighter side to the world & be happy about this new adventure you are about to begin, or you can sit there, address the pain first and then decide to truly be happy about what's in front of you. Suppressing the pain will only make the wound deeper and deeper and it will truly never heal. What if you never address it and never give it a chance to heal? You'll still see the good and adventurous side to everything but with a ting of pain knowing that it could come up and bring you down even at your happiest moment. Along with the tears of joy, there will be some hidden...

Discover, Live.

Image
I'm no writer. I'm no philosopher, but this thought keeps playing in my head and I couldn't think of anything else to do with it, but to write about it. Our journey as a human being is wonderful and flamboyant, in it's own way. You may or may not see similarities with others in the process. It's wonderfully painful and beautiful. You may easily get lost in the process of trying to achieve that goal forgetting that you are the journey, you make the journey yourself. It could sometimes be easy and sometimes, not so easy. Things take you down, that voice in your head never seems to stop talking. There's a constant mumbling and you can always here it, but the question is how much do you listen to it. The journey is something that could change you and could easily make so many route things in your life disappear over a period of time. They never are truly gone for ever. It's like your subconscious mind. It just needs that nudge once in a while to wake up and...

Choose your view.

Image
The window is in your heart. The view may remain the same for a really long time. You need to choose what you really want to do with the view. You can either choose to be irritated that what you really want isn't happening, or you can get up and change that view but retain your window. The process need not be smooth and pleasant. The more painful, the more you will appreciate it yourself. Get that inner self out. Use that voice in your head, talk to it and listen. You may just end up seeing a side to you, you never knew you had. Circumstances may change you a little, but they can never really change you entirely. After a point, the real you is bound to come out. When the real you is ready for its debut, the world will be ready for you too. Go do your thing! Be that person you've always wanted to be. Change the view from the window in your heart. Don't be too hard on yourself if you think the process isn't as fast as you want it to be, you might be damaging that ...

The invisible girl

The process of being yourself, doing what you do, saying what you like, it sure sounds easy and natural, but it's not. Sometimes all of your world gets rattled up when you least expect it to, and it just shakes you up for a really long time. You become invisible. Nobody else notices this, but you. You identity becomes the invisible you. The sadness, the pain, the alone time becomes your happy place. Yes, beyond a point in time you really start to appreciate this space and disconnection from people, but inside you know that there's this bit thats waiting to go and meet some people and talk. In your head you're doing in, what stops you is the invisible exterior that's living the reality. It's scary, but it's a good scary. In this invisible world, you truly start to be who you want to be, because all this while you were so scared, and now that you're invisible, the process of being the real you is just easier. You come out to be that person you were in you...

To the shore..

Image
Our heart is like sea. We can either choose to be the creatures that struggles to swim, or we can be the fish that swims and enjoys his life, and reaches the shore and ends his life happily. We can get lost easily, everything may be tough. The important thing is not giving up. It's not shameful to ask to for help if you're stuck. Sail through it. Alone or not, just sail! The process of sailing may not be as pleasant as you assumed it to be. At the end you'll just appreciate it. The idea is to make it a happy memory. It must be your happy place. Do it for yourself. Its easy to love having people around you all the time and being a people's person, but also learn to appreciate the joy and the happiness of being alone. Honestly, for me, alone time is happy time. For you it could constitute coffee and good music, or a book etc. for me its just me and my camera on a beautiful journey alone. Making pictures is my happy place.  I think I am enjoying my process of sailin...
